New Rating System for females

Love at first sight; or like at first sight, at least.
What is it that makes you look at one certain person out of seven billion and think: They’re perfect?
Your feelings for that person admittedly have to do with their looks; superficial as it sounds, something about them catches your eye and then consumes your mind.
Some guy friends of mine came up with a system of evaluating girls in a way that is more specific and qualitative than the typical quantitative “rate them on a scale of one to ten.” The system consists of the following four categories in this order: Cute, pretty, beautiful, and hot.
“It is in that order, because cute is the most innocent, hot is the most riskay, and they progressively go in that order,” said Pearse Swail, one of the founders of this new system and a current junior at
I like this system, because it’s more considerate and descriptive. Girls being depicted qualify to be in one to three of the four personas.
“Most girls are two of the four traits, some are three, but none are all four,” said Swail.
According to Swail, it is impossible for one girl to be in all four categories, because some of the personas contradict each other. That’s another thing that I like about this scale; there’s no perfect ten, so you never feel like you could have done better.
Swail used the example of Jennifer Aniston, who he said fell into the personas of pretty, beautiful and hot.
“Jennifer Aniston is gorgeous, but I don’t think she could be described as cute,” Swail said. “If she doesn’t fall in all four categories, I don’t see how anyone can.”
When a guy rates me, hearing “I think she’s pretty and cute” is much preferred over “Eh, I’d give her a four.” This system is more accurate as well, because the number a guy gives you on the one-to-ten scale is based off of his preferences. If the rater prefers a girl who is hot and beautiful but finds you to be pretty and cute, he would give you a pretty low number on the one-to-ten scale. But with this new method, it’s always positive.
“The only hard part of this scale is defining all four, because some people define them differently,” Swail said. “For example, cute and hot are generally pretty straight forward, however pretty and beautiful describe similar traits in a different personality. Beautiful is often referred to as more elegant; however it’s easy to give pretty and beautiful a similar description.”
This classification method is applicable to any woman, and it is a better approach to describing and bragging about your girl to your friends without your girlfriend slapping you for, if you were honest, not giving her a ten.
“I like this system for two main reasons,” said Swail. “One, it can describe every girl, and two, it takes out the negativity of the one-to-ten scale. There’s no better, just different.”
I think that this system is a step up from the one-to-ten scale and should be used more often by everyone. If you doubt their system as you read this article, Swail challenges you to try it yourself.
“If you don’t believe me, try using it with people,” Swail said. “You’ll find that it’s never negative, and there isn’t someone who is all four. I haven’t seen a four yet.”
