Regent University, whose motto is “Christian leadership to change the world,” recognizes the leadership of many who took action during the Holocaust to save many and the strength of those who survived.
The Embassy of Israel worked with The Christian Broadcasting Network and Regent University to create the “Beyond Duty” exhibition to honor the Righteous Among the Nations and the Holocaust survivors.
As seen in the movie Schindler’s List, there were people such as the portrayed Oskar Schindler who risked their lives during the Holocaust to rescue Jews.
“Beyond Duty” is dedicated to those like him who risked their lives and more to save the oppressed and to those who themselves survived.
The exhibition will be displayed in the Library Atrium from October 10 – 23. Operating hours are 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday.
To schedule a group visit or for more information, people are invited to email events@regent.edu or call 888.372.1006.
“I encourage you to visit this exhibition,” said Robert Herron Jr., PhD, Dean of the College of Arts & Sciences. “It will broaden your horizons and expand your moral capacity.”
